Description
AppV 4.5 sequencing experience (The manager does not want to see candidates that have supported the AppV hardware but have actually packaged applications using AppV 4.5 or close version). Using the AppV tool NOT supporting it. Exposure to application virtualization. Familiarity with InstallShield, LAN Desk, Remedy, Lotus Notes, and VM Ware. An understanding of file, folder, and registry permissions and how to set them through MSI installer or similar utility. Understanding of folder redirection and group policies and how these affect applications. Understanding of how applications interact with the OS and expert troubleshooting/analysis skills. Ability to work in a team atmosphere while being self motivated with minimum direction in a fast paced environment. Excellent written and communication skills. Enterprise experience Additional skills that are needed for daytoday work (off project if contract goes longer) Experience repackaging applications into MSI formats and performing the testing before promoting the software into production. The ideal candidate will have expert troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple teams.
