Description

Responsibilities Scrum Master large enterprise level initiatives from early stages through delivery; Work closely with project executives, sponsors, contributors, assigned resources and influencing groups to launch, administer, manage, report, and successfully close assigned all assigned work efforts; Define and support key project processes including estimation tracking, change control, issue/risk management, etc; Create appropriate collection of metrics to measure the success of each project, monitor overall project progress, and report status and next milestones to project stakeholders on an ongoing basis; Work with Development and Business Owner team to plan and coordinate resources, tasks, environments and roll out; Oversee issue resolution and project change management; Own capacity models to forecast the delivery schedule for team project portfolio, model different scenarios and project future resource needs; Engage Program Managers, Developers and Test Engineers on agile best practices, tools and techniques.Requirements Scrum Master Certification is required. 810 years of experience in a technical software development environment 34 years of experience as a Software Program/Project Manager using Agile techniques, including full SDLC for at least 3 enterprise level projects and experience with a team size of at least 6 members Solid understanding of web application technologies Must be able to mentor team members in various areas of Agile and serve as an Agile proponent throughout organization Demonstrated experience driving sprint planning and execution, removing/escalating impediments, reporting risks, impediments, sprint, and release progress Demonstrated experience for managing the schedules, timelines, and scrum teams to ensure that products are shipped on time, within budget and meeting quality standards set by Expedia Must be able to effectively facilitate the team in estimation of product backlog items and identifying/managing cross organization dependencies Must be able to effectively facilitate the team in estimation of product backlog items Must adeptly work with team and other scrum managers to identify/managing cross organization dependencies Demonstrated facilitation skills and the ability maintain working relationships with all levels of the organization and across multidisciplinary groups including engineering, design, user research, marketing, planning and business strategy Great problem solving skills and high intellectual horsepower, including a strong passion for new ideas and the ability to advocate for how they would be best vetted/implemented Success in building and managing highly talented, geographically distributed, software development teams Possess self awareness and a high pride in building the team
