Description
The OCIVoice Services team is seeking a qualified individual tprovide application development on Nortel MPS 500 systems with emphasis on speech recognition. This is a short term (6 months t1 year) assignment. A key in determining a qualified individual tfill this position will be a demonstrated ability tdevelop and maintain IVR and speech recognition applications on the MPS platform. This individual will alsbe required tmentor and train State FTE staff in developing applications on the MPS platform. This individual will be responsible for the ongoing development of existing State staff by assisting in establishing coding standards, identifying best practices and conducting both oneonone and group sessions pertaining tdesign, testing and implementation of MPS and Nuance applications. General Responsibilities Develop various speechenabled applications following the full software development life cycle. Responsible for all phases of speech application deployment Speech Specialist in discovery and requirement analysis of the Speech application Create stateofthe art Voice User Interface(VUI) detailed specification document, based on Voice UI best design practices Write speech application codes as well as speech recognition grammars Tune speech applications (analyze transcription result, recommend changes tthe dialog and speech grammars for better performance) Perform usability survey & analysis Configure Speech Servers, support speech application deployment.
