The User Experience team at Sears Holdings Online Services is looking for a creative designer with five plus years of experience and a passion for visual communication, usercentric interaction design, collaboration, technology and application design to join our closeknit group of digital professionals.The Senior Web Designer/Creative will create visual designs based on the interaction design provided by our User Exerience Architects. The Senior Web Designer/Creative will not be coding html/css but will collaborate closely with the Front End Developers to make sure creative provided is executable and implemented correctly. Working under the direction of the Creative Director, the Senior Designer is an innovative creative thinker able to translate ideas and concepts into useful and memorable interactive marketing, brand/identity, web and motionbased designs. Attention to detail and ability to uphold and deliver work at the highest quality standards is essential. Passion for design in all media is essential. Responsibilities Designing solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives Creating interactive design concepts Designing mood boards, storyboards, interactive page layouts, site grids and interface demos, photo retouching and enhancements, animated GIFs Providing quality assurance on creative deliverables Building and maintaining team rapport with creative staff, account managers, and project managers Foster a Studio environment that is onbrand Collaborative, Trusted, Insightful, Innovative, Ingenious, Memorable, Pioneering, Agile, Driven, Passionate, Diverse, Analytical Qualifications Strong design portfolio with 4+ years education, 5+ years design and interactive work experience Ability to articulate and present creative ideas Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail A solid working knowledge of the latest versions of applicable programs Mac OS, Photoshop and Illustrator, etc. Passion for design and eagerness to collaborate with other creative people Mature appreciation of the balance between creative and business opportunities Self motivated, organized and accountable Preferred Skills/Experience Understanding of motion design and the strengths andlimitations of Flash, Ajax, Flex, and other emerging platforms Comprehensive understanding of interactivity and the Web andthe fundamentals of information architecture Experience working on a team with User Experience Architectsand Front End Developers. Experience developing experiences in a Agile developmentenvironment.
