Description

This position has been established to provide a technical development expertise for each of Avial's business applications. This will provide accountability for overall technical development support of each specific application. Has authority to make decisions related to architecture, design, and implementation of assigned projects. This includes Monitors and makes recommendations regarding the uses of departmental project budget and funds to ensure corporate budget objectives are met. + Make decisions with regard to project scope, evolution and timelines to ensure that the best possible decisions are made at all times. This includes making recommendations to Aviall, partners, project team members or vendors on direction of project or business decisions that impact result of a project. + Ensure project outcome is aligned with stated project charter so that business functionality is achieved. Decisions are made in conjunction with buyin at the executive steering committee level based on objectives. + 2 years PC or client server application development experience with relational databases, data modeling and SQL, plus; 1 year handson Siebel configuration experience using script to enhance Siebel functionality REQUIRED Excellent communication skills at both the technical and business discussion levels, along with excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities Solid understanding of project implementation life cycle knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Java, and XML OPTIONAL Siebel Tools version 7.5 or above.
