Systems Analyst

Systems Analyst will work in a small team environment and will play a very important role in supporting Energy Supply systems. The position requires an individual who Has the desire to understand the electric trading business and see the BIG PICTURE Can determine how technology may improve existing processes or address new business issues Is detailoriented Is an effective multitasker Is a great team player Is comfortable working with other ITBA Enterprise teams and following up on tasks as necessary Is able to work directly with vendor support to troubleshoot packaged products used by the Energy Supply business unit Responsibilities/Duties 1. Perform systems analysis for new projects and ongoing support of existing Energy Supply systems.2. Perform data analysis and data transformation between integrated systems, to include impact analysis.3. Create database mappings/designs in collaboration with a Data Architect and developer.4. Create detailed design specifications that include system use cases, system test plans, wireframes, etc. as required.5. Perform testing, documentation, and implementation of new releases of both internally developed systems or vendor packages. Qualifications 1. At least 5 years experience doing systems analysis work.2. Experience or knowledge of Energy Supply business or energy commodity is a plus.3. Proven ability to work independently while in a team environment and who is committed to a task.4. Excellent problemsolving skills and is flexible, adaptable, and enjoys learning.5. Strong oral and written communication skills.6. Strong technical skills and experience in webbased development, Oracle, Cognos, SQL Developer or Toad. MSAccess experience is a plus.
