They are trying to determine which apps to keep and which to rewrite from merger Migrating their apps off the mainframe.Upgrading to Weblogic 10.There are many 3rd party apps, hence the need for multiple DBs (Oracle, SQLServer)Skills Needed Primary Skills Java/J2EE WebDevelopment Struts extensive experience with Struts is required JDBC Prepared Statements, Callable Statements this is very important DAO w/JDBC EJBs 3.x MDBs JMS/MQ WebServices SOAP/WSDL. Use Weblogic ant tags SQL advanced JOINS this is very important PLSQL cursors, triggers, etc this is very important Integration with security services Javascript/DHTML/CSS Ant Need experience with multiple databases Apache Weblogic 8, 9. Moving to 10 clustered & balanced production environments Oracle 9i, 10g stored procedures Microsoft SQL Server DB2 on mainframe being phased out. Linux/UNIX Siteminder+Design Patterns UML deployment, some class, flow diagrams Design Patterns nice to have J2EE
