Instructional Designer (Articulate or Captivate or Lectora)

Description The Instructional Designer will provide Articulate, Adobe Captivate and/or Lectora Software expertise to our client s Training Initiative Program. Will be responsible for placing the finalized curriculum in one of the chosen software providers and creating interactive training aids and graphics in the Software, as appropriate. The Instructional Designer will provide expert input in identifying effective training points and creating knowledge checkpoints, graphics, and visual features that engage, reinforce, and enhance the experience of students. The Instructional Designer will provide consultation on the design and development of a method for assessing and evaluating training effectiveness and evaluation measures. The Worker may be asked to train approximately 5 staff in the use of the Software to create staff development training. Must have One of the following 2 Years Experience creating online adult education or staff development classes or courses using Articulate Software 2 Year Experience training others in use of Adobe Captivate and/or Lectora Software 2 Year Experience integrating interactive components into online components Software Minimum Requirements 6 Years Experience creating online adult education or staff development classes or courses using PowerPoint Software 4 Years Experience in adult education, training, staff development, and/or continuing education 4 Years Experience planning, developing, coordinating, and delivering adult education or staff development classes, courses, or programs Strong Knowledge of adult education concepts, techniques, and methodologies Strong Knowledge of alternative training delivery methods, including interactive online methods Strong Skill in use of PowerPoint Software Strong Skill in use of Articulate Software Strong skill in use of Adobe Captivate Software Strong skill in use of Lectora Software Strong Skill in creating online classes or courses that present images and ideas in a clear, concise, organized, and interesting manner to optimize student understanding and focus Strong Planning and organizational skills, with flexibility for changes in work priorities Strong Ability to demonstrate initiative and innovation in dealing with ambiguous, fastpaced situations Strong Experience exercising judgment within defined practices and policies to determine appropriate actions to be taken Strong Ability to work with little or no instruction for routine assignments and general instruction for new assignments Degree Bachelor s degree Well versed in many design authoring tools (ie, information mapping, Adobe Captivate) Expert level experience is required with instructional design methodology and Adobe Captivate Intermediate level experience is required with Adobe Flash and Photoshop, Information Mapping and HTML
