Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Description

Looking for software engineers (up to two) to work on the Horizon Care Record project, data archiving application. FYI, They wont be looking for two identical people plan to look for some diversity skillwise, perhaps biasing one towards the database side with the other towards the java side. Manager would like to do phone screens the week of the Feb 22nd, interviews the week of the March 1st with a decision by the end of that week.Excellent Oracle skills including PL/SQL, package creation Good shell scripting Some Perl coding Good C code Nice to have Java Good ability to communicate especially with the client facing portion of HCR support/escalations Ability to work in an environment with shifting priorities Self starter and able to work with little supervision Ability to multitask and often work under some pressure This is not a heads down coding position for the most part, and I think we need to look for someone who can thrive in our work environment. Often it means going and talking with someone about all of the issues that crop up when trying to development. If someone is used to working in an environment that is highly controlled environment they may not be the best fit
