STRICT REQUIREMENTS Strong communication skills Strong ecommerce development/architect experience Strong mix of software development/architectural experience in a web based environment using Java, J2EE and Web 2.0 (HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML and XSLT) Strong experience with Jboss, SOA and messaging in SOA Position Description The Senior J2EE Developer/Architect shall be an independent selfstarter requiring minimal assistance to get the job done. This position requires an experienced developer with expertise in the integration of heterogeneous systems using web services. Knowledge and experience with ESB and Database technologies is required. Responsibilities Develop the systems and technologies supporting our clients product offerings, internal and back office systems. Support the development of new major functionality and implement the next generation of services offered by the client in coordination with Product Development, Customer Service, Marketing, Network Operations and Engineering teams. Creation of technical documentation for projects as assigned. Qualifications Minimum experience (industries, years etc) Experience in both startups and established companies preferred. Ideally, the candidate has experience with Application Service Providers and has worked with virtual teams, diverse cultures and offshore organizational models. Expert knowledge of Java/J2EE software development. Experience with Internet technologies for realtime transaction based systems and online billing systems. Handson experience with Web architecture design. Experience developing Web Services and associated technologies (WSDLs, SOAP). Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills with welldeveloped presentation skills. Willing and able to get down in the details to make things happen. 5+ Years Experience developing ntier Internet applications using Java/J2EE (EJB, JSP, Servlet) . Experience with current Web and Web 2.0 technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML and XSLT. Strong understanding of Linux/Microsoft environments. Operations architecture and/or security architecture knowledge highly desirable. Significant experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server database platforms. ESB development experience (preferably Tibco). The candidate must be able to thrive in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment with a variety of development tools and be able to adapt quickly to new technologies, platforms and priorities
