ETL Data warehouse Architect

Responsibilities The Securities Lending Technology unit of Equities at Goldman, Sachs & Co is looking for a developer to work on a datawarehousing application that provides management reporting and analytics data to various business stakeholders within GSS and other areas. The successful candidate will participate in the full lifecycle of system development Analyze and translate business requirements into system requirements. Design technical solution including ETL, data modeling and OLAP. Coordinate UAT and system delivery. The candidate will also be responsible for enhancing and supporting existing infrastructure and code libraries. The candidate should be proficient with data warehousing technologies/concepts (ETL, SCD etc). Web application framework experience is a plus. Experience/Skills At least three years of development experience preferably in Financial Services. Prior experience in building data warehousing applications required. Strong data analysis and data modeling skills required. SQL and Stored procedures (ideally DB2 UDB but will also consider Sybase or Oracle) required. Good interpersonal and communication skills required. Good knowledge of object oriented design and development in Java. Demonstrated successful trackrecord working within a team environment. Experience with J2EE/Spring/Struts/Web Application Framework preferred.Experience with OLAP tools such as Hyperion Essbase or Sybase IQ is a plus. Perl and general scripting preferred.
