Qualifications Logical and physical Data modeling Oracle and Sql Server database concepts Data architecture SQL Metadata management Responsibilities Work with Gas Delivery Data Architect to define and design data supporting Dominion Gas Delivery business units. Define data element names and aliases, data definitions, and standard data values that accurately describe the actual entities, attributes, and relationships in a major subject area (e.g., customer). Work with Gas Delivery Data Arhchitect to establish and implement security and integrity controls that protect data assets and meet business and regulatory requirements. Conduct design reviews to ensure data quality, consistency with the established data architecture(s), and adherence to established standards and guidelines. Participate in business process design or improvement efforts. Collaborate with other application and data teams to optimize the flow of work and data across interconnected business processes. Define new data elements/structures or changes to applications as needed to support major enhancements or new business initiatives.
