Description

The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control is seeking a senior level (ntier) software (Java) developer who has 5 + years of solid, handson experience in analyzing, coding, unit testing, and implementing Webbased applications development. Responsibilities involve analyzing current application developed using WebLogic 7.1 (Webflow) and rewriting the code to work with WebLogic 10 for conversion. Qualified applicants should have ATLEAST 5 + years of knowledge (sr level proficiency) of automated systems development life cycle (SDLC). Prior exp should involve development work that has been conducted in a multihardware and software environment. Handson experience with WebLogic 10, JAVA, EJB, JSP, Javascript, SQL and Oracle is REQUIRED. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY. ABC does have other developers who can help the contractor and assist in setting up the development environment, target architecture and to provide any help in understanding the requirements. But the CONTRACTOR WILL BE WORKING ALONE IN THE TASK OF UPGRADE TO WebLogic 10.3. therefore it is imperative that they are able to work independently; prior experience doing an upgrade to Weblogic v10 would be important to have.
