Information Architect SAP MDM Analyst

To source product and manage vendor relationships for a category of spend. Driving value within the business through best value for money, service/ quality and cost.The Information Architect is responsible for the information solution design for projects that have a significant data/information architecture component. The architect must ensure that the design fits in with the overall architecture strategy and framework and meets all business requirements. The architect is responsible for the business requirements for SAP MDM but will be involved in other projects that have a significant data component. This role reports to the Director of Information Architecture.External Responsibilities Business Decision Support Support / adhere to procedures and maintenance of policies, and controls. Lead the resolution of funding, payment, budgetary, and system issues for the NAIS process area. Develop interdepartmental efficiencies by communicating and crosstraining with our internal customers / business partners.Accountabilities Work with IT and business resources to gather business requirements and drive functional and technical designs for SAP MDM. Ensure that scope of solution is manageable; develop cost estimates and timelines for detailed analysis, design and implementation. Lead the effort to define detailed business requirements for the solution with business SMEs and IT functional SAP experts. Work with business to define priorities and present requirements and implementation options back to business. Provide expertise to address enterprise master data issues such as data convergence, data standards and data synchronization. Develop master data schema, business rules/validations definitions, data mapping documents and data migration processes, business process and workflows Research complex data issues with business colleagues; examine data in various source systems (SAP and nonSAP) for inconsistencies, review transformation logic and propose corrective alternatives. Serve as main point of contact for development team for clarifications of requirements. Ensure that development standards are met by contract staff. Develop current state and future state architectures. Develop alterative solutions and site benefits and concerns of each and recommendation. External Requirements Strong analytical and technical skills. Highly proficient in Excel and other MS office applications, ability to model business requirements and preparePrerequisitesIndividual must have very good oral and written communication, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. Ability to quickly absorb complex business information, identify key issues and details and present understandable alternatives to nontechnical and technical audiences. Strong SAP ECC6 Functional knowledge of Product/Material and Customer master data. One to two SAP MDM full life cycle implementations. Experience in a CPG company is a plus. Operational IT experience, particularly in project delivery. Familiarity with project management best practices, methodologies, and tools. Should have a demonstrated portfolio of previous projects where the candidate was accountable/responsible for the analysis phase of the project supported by references.
