Governance Risk Compliance project. Seeking candidates with Object Oriented Pure Java exp. Not seeking J2EE exp.Previous experience at Thomson Reuters is not particularly helpful. The Paisley division is quite different from TR divisions from an architectural perspective. We need people with strong computer science fundamentals, not Java EE skills. People who have Java EE experience as their only exposure to OO, especially in slowermoving IT organizations are likely to be rejected without a phone screen. People with a working, realworld knowledge of an OO language outside of Java (such as Ruby, Smalltalk or Lisp) are highly desirable.Description Codes software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customers. Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and develops fixes. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude required. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. Local candidates only. Experience in an Agile environment with SCRUM development REQUIRED. Will work on teams of 810 and participate in a 'Daily Scrum'. Candidates will work in a 'CoLocation' environmentbullpen sitting with all Contingent Workers and FTEs in the sam area. MUST BE strong Team Workers.
