REQUIRED SKILLS Three or more years experience in largescale distributed data center operations and handson computer operation functionsOne or more years knowledge in production/ operations supportSolid knowledge of ZEKE, JCL, CICS Strong analytical and problemsolving skillsEffective in team setting and as individual contributorAbility to multitask and prioritize workloadProvide daily status reporting information regarding previous processing cycle activitiesPerform product testing functions for the DBA groupROLE DESCRIPTION Responsible for batch processing, monitoring schedulesInterface with clients and end users for trouble shooting and production flow issuesProvide overall analysis, support advice and recommendations from and operational perspective staffStrictly follow established procedures and guidelines for batch scheduling and monitoringProvide technical assistance and training to first level monitoring functionOTHER Note This role requires that candidates have a solid knowledge of CICS, JCL, how JCL interacts with COBOL programs, and a working knowledge of a job scheduler. While not required, experience with ASGZEKE Scheduler is preferred. The primary shift for this position is the nightshift. The role requires the selected candidate to be flexible, as the expected work environment may require oncall, pager support, weekend, and modified work schedules.
