MicroStrategy (MSTR) Technical Lead

Description

This is a handson technical lead, with the ability to stand alone and guide the customer through this first instance of install and rampup in the report services realm. Handson Technical Lead who really knows MSTR, but has also lead a project before. Both strong communication skills and a strong level of confidence in guiding the customer through solutions will be needed.This is a very handson lead. They will be hand holding the customer to get their environment set up and configured properly. A broad understanding of different components of MicroStrategy is important as well as the ability to make recommendations on specific server configurations, deployment best practices, etc.There will be other resources developing Report Services so the lead resource would only jump in on development if there aren't any other tasks.The client has some inexperienced developers supporting this project, which tend to get off track in discussions and a little back and forth between the business and IT sometimes happens. Strong communication skills is highly desired in order to manage this.Must have skills Project lead skills (Will be working with on and offshore developers). UNIX installation and configuration skills. Have performed at least one install. Report Services. Customer is new to this product but is looking to implement some advanced pieces of functionality. Security implementation (system prompt, security filters).Nice to have Intelligent cube creation or tuning. This isn't required as not many people have this skill because it's so new but the consultant will be expected to answer questions and create design around this topic
