Description
Reviewing queries, IQ query plans and then tune stored procedures, canned as well as adhoc queries. Review Index Advisor output and then recommend and set up create Index statements to match new adhoc and prepared queries and stored procedures. Document existing IQ environment and recommend changes to be made for a new IQ Multiplexd environment along with logical and physical design recommendations for same. Troubleshooting IQ performance problems on an IBM Pseries/AIX 5.3.0/64bit platform and making recommendations for both Unix level tuning changes as well as IQ changes Setup, install IQ and configure database & O/S for high throughput. Experience in integrating with Business Objects a plus. IQ loader performance tuning and troubleshooting skills. Extensive experience in IQ 12.7 running on AIX . Also, have experience with Sybase IQ
