Requirements Custody and Control has the responsibility for the firms books and records. This includes keeping track of the firms positions, ensuring that the firms position and transaction records are accurate, making sure that both the firm and our clients are in compliance with all regulatory requirements, and maintaining both the firms and our clients positions in light of corporate actions or other market events. Additionally, they are responsible for generating clients monthly statements as well as their yearly tax forms.SKILLS/EXPERIENCEMUST HAVE Minimum 3 years of experience in JAVA & RDBMS (UDB preferred) 2 Years with Sybase/Perl/C++/Java Excellent OOAD Linux or Unix experience required Good understanding of Agile methodologies and test driven development Experience in enterprise architecture delivery Strong analytical/problem solving skills required Strong verbal and written communication, should be team oriented and able to share ideas Good project management, user interaction, requirement gathering, SDLC skills are must NICE TO HAVE Financial industry background and specifically exposure to back office processing (asset servicing, tax, reconciliations, securities segregation) will be an advantage Hibernate or other ORM tool Fitnesse, Team City Experience in Spring
