Java Developer

Description

Scintel is looking for a Senior Java developer experienced in SOA and Web services to provide development expertise to include some analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of enterprise level applications for a retail client. Required Skills 8+ years of experience in object oriented design and development and relational database management 4 + years of experience as a software developer experienced with SOA/Web Services that talk to and pull data from the mainframe and other environments 5+ years of extensive handson experience with Java, J2EE, JSP, JNDI, and JDBC 2 years of handson experience with data modeling and database technology from multiple vendors including DB2. Handson experience in Web Sphere, Portal development Handson experience on Spring and Hibernate framework tools Strong knowledge of SQL and database schema Should be well versed with all Phases of SDLC Should have good experience in understanding requirements, detailed analysis and development Solid understanding of distributed systems, middleware technologies and ntier architecture as well as a variety of software tools and languages Experience working in Agile development methodology Experience performing highly complex analysis, design, development, testing and debugging of sophisticated J2EE based webbased applications Experience integrating complex enterprise systems including GAP analysis and mapping between multiple database schemas and database formats Experience working with different transport protocols such as RMI, SOAP, REST and clean payload interface design including Java Interfaces, WSDL and XML Schema. Experience with caching models, eviction policies and concurrency issues associated with synchronizing caches with a system of record across multiple processes desired but not required. Experience profiling server side applications to find hotspots for memory consumption and performance improvements. Good oral and written English communication skills Prior experience working in an onshore/offshore modelTools/Environments SQL experience is required . Stored Procedures is a plus. Spring framework experience highly desirable. Solid foundation of XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL, SOAP is required Scripting including Unix shell, python highly desirable. Development tools including ANT, Eclipse and RAD required. Experience with source management tools such as Subversion, CVS, Perforce or Rational Clear Case required Experience with Websphere required. Other container experience such as Weblogic, JBOSS, Jetty, Resin, Tomcat is desirable but not required. API Experience with JAAS, JNDI, JSSE, JMX, JTA, JMS highly desirable. Web Services development experience required.
