Description
New position being created within the Safety Dept. This team will be responsible for the reviewing of all patient Medical Records of those participating in various Bayer sponsored studies. These records will come in from various sources but mainly be sent directly from the study sites. While reviewing these records each person must extract all the information pertaining to patient Adverse Events. These Adverse Events will then be sent to the appropriate Drug Safety professional in the assigned therapeutic area to be triaged and then processed accordingly. This position will NOT be responsible for the processing of safety cases, but only for the extraction, organization, and transfer of all AEs related to the study patients. Bayer has received 800,000 pages of law suits, Drug Safety consultants would have to go through all these medical records and extract the relevant information on Bayer products and from there forward to the Drug Safety Associate working in the specfic theraputic area.
