Data Analyst

Description

The Microsoft Entertainment and Device Organization, which manages Xbox and Zune, is in the process of revamping/establishing their Customer (CI) / Business Intelligence (BI) processes across multiple marketing channels. During this process, there is a need for a Data Analyst to help define the tobe state of the CI/BI data warehouse, data marts and information distribution systems. Specific Deliverables Accountable for Analyze and Design deliverables (e.g. business requirements, functional requirements, use cases, high level data design) Facilitates sessions with business to confirm and define high level endstate data process models, and responsible for defining asis and tobe data process models for all inscope business scenarios Defines conceptual, logical data model to enable use cases, strategy to manage data structure enabling Single Customer view and enablement of Analytics [and / or] Develops and documents solutionrelated deliverables (e.g. data integration, data quality ) [and / or] Conducts data profiling Defines the performance goals and metrics for the proposed solution Develops and document solutionrelated deliverables (e.g. data integration, data quality ) Accountable for data integration and enrichment Conducts peer reviews of project deliverables for quality assurance Specific Skills Customer Relationship Management Customer Insight Business Intelligence Business Analysis Business Data Process Management Data Modeling Data Access / Analysis Utilizing SQL Data Integration Data Architecture, Data Quality Data Profiling, Cleansing, Harmonization, Audits and Data Monitoring
