P Analyst / Developer

Description

The successful candidate will work alongside the Project Manager in replacement of a legacy Power Solutions US Hourly Time, Attendance and Labor process/system. This Business Analyst would work closely with the business community to understand current payroll processes, help develop innovative solutions, and prioritize/execute activities in utilizing proper methodologies in software design lifecycle. Primary Duties 1. Review/build User Business requirements and conduct gap analysis study in unknown areas. 2. Develop functional/system specifications for TO BE and AS IS systems. 3. Understand the Software Development Lifecycle and all documentation associated with it. 4. Work closely with the technical development team to ensure accurate and timely code that matches the functional/system specifications. 5. Support the governance model for enhancements to the SAP platform that supports the customer focused approach but ensures compliance to the business goals and objectives 6. Review and address Remedy Tickets (user trouble tickets) that are assigned to the analyst in a timely fashion. This would be for the as is system in place. 7. Assist with the creation and ongoing review of Training materials 8. Review Testing scripts to ensure accuracy of Integration and Regression testing efforts 9. Individual must be willing to work in a fastpaced environment with limited guidance and have the ability to meet/exceed set deadlines.Benefits Skills/Experience Job Specifications 1. Bachelor degree from an accredited university 2. Candidate must understand Payroll Systems process and workflows 3. Exposure to at least 2 SLCs (System Life Cycles). Delivering Payroll related solutions for new projects is desired. 4. Exposure to Mainframe applications / COBOL code preferred by not required. 5. Experience with the Payroll in the Automotive Industry solution is desired 6. Total of 5 10 years of IT / Business experience in the following areas i. 3+ years Software System (Kronos, Peoplesoft, SAP, ADP) deployment experience in the Payroll functional area, preferably with a manufacturing focus ii. 3+ years of experience in a business functional role, ie. Sales, Distribution Finance, business analyst, etc. 7. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement customerfocused processes & procedures 8. Excellent communication skills with ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with fieldbased clients. 9. Ability to sell IT initiatives at all levels of the business
