Soarian MedSuite is a native J2EE Rich Internet Application from Siemens targeting the global market. Functionally, MedSuite is an integrated Hospital Information System (HIS) including Revenue Cycle, Clinicals, Scheduling and other departmental solutions such as Lab and Pharmacy. We are seeking highly skilled; self motivated individuals to join the team.As a member of the engineering team for Soarian MedSuite, you will be working in an agile team environment on the full lifecycle development of enterprise class Flex applications in the Healthcare IT domain that are high performance, scalable and reusable throughout the global marketplace. Products you will help create range from mission critical clinical based applications to back office billing applications. Responsibilities include Working with Product Management teams to identify, prioritize and document detailed product requirements Designing, developing and documenting RIA application and framework code using Flex, ActionScript, Java etc. Creating robust, automated unit and functional tests Working with QA teams on performance and user acceptance testing Providing seamless integration with Java environments. Required skills and handson experience include Excellent Flex 3, ActionScript 3 and Rich Internet Application developmentDeep understanding of Flex component framework, the instantiation life cycle and the event modelDetailed knowledge of XML processing, including E4XAble to confidently share Flex best practices with the rest of the teamJava/J2EE midtier application developmentWorking knowledge of commercial database such as Oracle highly desired
