Developer MOSS

Description

The Developer MOSS, will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and monitoring solutions built on the MOSS 2017 platform. The Developer MOSS will be required to work closely with the Sr. Applications Analyst MOSS in crafting solutions to meet a myriad of business needs. The development of solutions will be based primarily on core MOSS functionality, inherent workflow capabilities, integration of 3rd party tools and secondarily on custom developed applications on the MOSS platform. Interaction with business partners, senior management and GIS functional / technical teams will be critical in planning and implementing appropriate solutions. This role will be accountable for investigating industry trends and provide guidance and recommendations to senior management. This role will be accountable for maintaining knowledge of MOSS product direction, and providing the necessary information to senior management. Required Skills Experience with Infopath, XAML, SPD 2010, CAML, Jquery, document sets, BCS, Powershell and SPLINQ a plus. Knowledge of Metadata tagging standards and search indexing Experience with IIS Web Server (Configuration) Experience with Virtual Server or VM Ware a plus Knowledge of SSP and Central Administration Functions for MOSS 2017 Experience Required Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Minimum of six to nine years of experience in an information systems environment, with strong knowledge of systems and technology architecture. Minimum of five years of experience in SharePoint application development. Minimum of three years experience in developing applications on the MOSS 2017 platform using the appropriate tools (ASP, C#, WCF, SOA, XML, IIS, SQL, StSDev, StSAdm, etc.) Experience using Visual Studio 2018 or related IDE Knowledge of search indexing and development of search Experience with IIS Web Server
