Server Administrator

Description

Bridgewater is seeking a Senior Server Administrator to join the Server operations team. This team is responsible for ensuring a stable and reliable infrastructure (Windows, Linux, ESX), and for overseeing the building and deployment of machines into that environment. This team is expanding to meet the operational demands of a fast growing infrastructure. Talented candidate should have interest and capability to drive operational processes to the next level. This person will be a part of a team that is responsible for daytoday administration, operation, and support of Bridgewater's server infrastructure (including Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Virtual Machines within our VMware ESX environment). Client is looking for a handson Windows technology expert that can operate and help improve the existing incident, request, change, problem, and risk management processes. Server Admin will be working on the missioncritical systems and shared infrastructure used to operate all of our research, trading, and back office systems. Candidate should have experience in organizations that are not fully formed and matured (the ideal candidate needs to be comfortable bringing order to chaos, but knows what order looks like and how it comes about).
