Job DescriptionCompanys Dynamics AX product team (DAX), is looking for a skilled Sr. Business Analyst to be part of a team in supporting the customization and implementation of existing and new functionality for DAX. This is a senior level role that directly supports initiatives for Finance and Supply chain operations as it relates to Microsoft Axapta.Responsibilities Will directly be responsible for the creation of formal business and functional requirements documents.Skill in diagnosing and solving complex problems and providing detailed technical analysisWill be expected to build strong relationship/rapport with the businessPresenting to peers, team or IT/Business community on technologies ideas or other projects.Maintain high availability for application, and client support.Requirements Must have hands on experience with other ERP software systems (Peoplesoft, Greatplains, etc).Must have relevant experience in telecommunications or supply chain industries (logistics, shipping/fulfillment, shop floor control ect.)Must understand the concepts of MSF and have previously practiced within a SDLC.Develops, coordinates, and implements plans to test business and functional processesThis individual must be prepared to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment.Maintains proficiency in the application and use of tools within the department.Effectively communicates the feasibility of requested deliverables and timelines to the Manager, internal Business, and Project Stakeholders. Ability to exhibit a commanding presence when necessary. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to structure analysis and use analysis to help identify root causes versus underlying symptoms and make solid recommendations for improvementMust maintain high quality documentation and will work closely with product development team.Must maintain a HIGH sense of ownership, and able to work with a direction instead of being task oriented.Strong communicator and willing to build strong business relationships.Escalates issues to the Manager and/or Sr. manager in a timely and appropriate manner.Strong customer orientation or professional services background. Capable of interfacing with the client, producing trustable estimates for long development cycles, and accurately gauging resource capabilities
