SPECIFIC SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Test Engineer or Technical Quality Assurance with at least 5 years experience Good team player and self starter. Strong knowledge and experience testing SQL databases (data warehouses and data marts) Strong knowledge and experience writing SQL queries and scripts for testing Ability to read and understand XML Understanding and experience in testing Informatica workflows Experience in executing and monitoring Informatica workflows Knowledge and experience in testing reporting services reports Experience in the Health Insurance Industry a plus Knowledge of Visual Studio Team Systems a plus Experience in an AGILE and Waterfall environment Knowledge of IIS, .NET a plus Working knowledge of C#, asp.net is a plus Knowledge of BizTalk is a plus GENERAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Knowledge of multiple operating system platforms Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and methodologies Strong problem analysis and solving skills Strong Knowledge of testing technologies and Industry Best Practices Proven ability to design, construct, execute and validate Product Test Strategies, Integration, System and User Acceptance Test plans Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and possess a high level of flexibility Ability to take initiative and work well under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment Experience with or actual development with BizTalk, .NET, C# and SQL Understanding of Microsoft Solutions Framework and Microsoft Operations Framework a plus BS in Computer Science with a focus on system/software development and maintenance RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the coordination, creation, execution, and validation of test plans, scripts and test cases for Distributed applications. Documents defects and provides analysis on priority Test plans, scripts and test cases are designed in accordance with business functional requirements and technical designs as defined via an AGILE (story boards, modeling, team design sessions, etc) or Waterfall method. Creating a test strategy. . ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The client needs someone with heavy SQL and who is able to write SQL queries. Informatica is a nice to have. XML experience is also required. Need someone who has not just done source to target, but actually ran workflows and changed parameters. Biztalk is a plus.
