Job Description Provides Business Objects administration & support that will include duties such as promotion, security, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting of BOBJ Enterprise services on a daily basis to effectively manage system availability and improve operations. Must have 3+ years of handson Business Objects XIR2 / XIR3 Server and Application administration. Experienced in managing BOBJ configurations on Windows VMware clustered environment. Experienced in installing Bobj software patches and maintaining the environment up to date with the latest patches. Hands on experience configuring IIS and Tomcat for Bobj. Have good understanding of dependent infrastructure such as network & databases (such as Teradata, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server). Good understanding of BOBJ Audit and CMS database schema. Nice to have Exposure to BOBJ tools such as Metadata Manager, Data Federator and Knowledge Accelerator is desirable Good experience in universe, webi, xcelcius and crystal reports is desirable Responsible for the design, development and administration of transactional and analytical data constructs/structures. Included within those responsibilities are the areas of data access and delivery technologies. Includes expertise in data mining, Extract Transform Load (ETL), design and documentation of data movement schemes, and mapping between applications. Usually includes experience in Ab Initio or other ETL products. May include experience in logical data model development 5+ years Technology specific experience (multiple technologies) 23 years experience in domain Develops advanced domain specific technology solutions and guides their development into a final product. Leads multiple workstreams in delivering solutions Works independently ETL experience in implementation and design (5+yrs.) Demonstrated ability to lead end to end ETL project and team Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels (Executive Sponsors to team members).
