SharePoint 2017 Support Role This is a supporting role on the IT Technical Administration team for the corporate SharePoint 2017 platform. SharePoint 2017 system administration support for IT and liaison to the other business unit site administrators. Support the day to day operations of SharePoint 2017 activities including the site intake process and overall active feature set. Primary contact for all Tier 2 & Tier 3 trouble tickets and working issues to resolution. Responsible for working with IT Operations and IT Development to resolve systems issues. Resolve daytoday business processrelated problems regarding SharePoint 2017 implementation. Technical Background Requires comprehensive knowledge of SharePoint Server 2017, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, with a network and operations background preferred. This role will be expected to perform the following administrative activities Create new websites, host headers, and work within Qwest security model. Manage SharePoint permissions at a corporate level, new user accounts and perform general user and group account activities. Comprehensive understanding of how SharePoint uses SQL Server and Windows 2003 Server including IP address configurations, host names, and resolving any general connectivity issues. Basic Job Qualifications 35+ years Microsoft Office SharePoint Server expertise in architecture and deployments across an enterprise Excellent client interaction and communication skills at all levels within a corporation Ability to develop test conditions and expected results based on the application requirements Strong analytical skills; Good business process acumen; Must have basic management skills to prioritize the day to day activities. Strong oral and written communications skills, and specifically strong documentation skills; Strong Microsoft Office skills (excel, word, PowerPoint, outlook); Ability to work with and apply defined methodologies; Good problem solving skills; Ability to work under pressure; Team player
