Technical System Analyst with Java design

Project Media Services Rewrite. Application supporting the media service print organization managing vendors who distribute Kohl's advertising media Skills Technical Analyst (TA) competency to help us thru Analysis and Design, as well as coordinate communications with our on/offshore model. TA skill sets should be of the following the ability to interpret business specification requirements and process functional, technical and data specifications. Uses modeling and documentation techniques. Able to translate functional specifications into detailed system design and technical specifications for complex systems/processes. Develops and reviews detailed program specifications from system design specs/business specs. Interacts with application developers to communicate program specifications. Strong skills in mathematical what if analysis required. Experience designing browserbased UI required. Background in Marketing with emphasis on print advertising is strongly preferred. Able to design Java browserbased applications residing on Linux servers with an Oracle database. Range of coding includes UI, Microstrategy (MSI), database access and updates, and messaging. TA will assist with system design, coding, quality, and coordinating communications with offshore Java/MSI developers
