BI Developer with Data Modeling

Description The Business Intelligence /Data Warehouse (BI/DW) development team is looking for a skilled BI/DW developer to assist with the design and development of self service reporting solutions in support of multiple financial and/or operational end customers. The contractor should possess the skills and experience necessary to participate in the development of all components of a BI reporting solution leveraging the BO XI infrastructure. This includes the design and development of reporting solution data marts optimized for Business Objects Universes; Star schema and dimensional data modeling understanding and capability Full lifecycle ETL development experience using Informatica PowerCenter. Experience with load refresh strategy best practices Business Objects specific skills include designing/developing/testing/implementing both BO Universes & Reports. The contractor will develop BI solutions for department and enterprise wide clients, this will involve heavy client interaction to assess requirements, provide BI solution alternatives, and to develop and test solutions prior to production deployment. Contractor may be involved with development and/or delivery of training material. Minimum Experience/Qualifications BS Computer Science or Information Systems (preferred) Minimum 8 yrs overall IT experience Full System Development LifeCycle (SDLC) 4+ years of experience developing data warehouses/marts; direct experience with dimensional modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake) Informatica PowerCenter ETL & BO Universe/Reporting experience Tool Knowledge 2+ yrs using Informatica PowerCenter for ETL development 2+ yrs Business Objects XiR2 or higher Universe & Reporting (Webi or Deski), Crystal reports Direct experience with all aspects of Oracle database development PL/SQL, Oracle Stored Procedures. Erwin Data Modeling Crystal Xcelsius Dashboard (optional) Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2018 MSAS/SSIS (optional) Sr. BI developer that is skilled from both a Business Objects development and Data modeling/WH perspective.
