Summary The client is a provider of industryleading communication offerings with an emphasis on products and services for the deaf and hardofhearing, is seeking experienced software engineers to assist in the development of mobile and embedded communication applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities Provide technical leadership within small development team to design, implement, and test mobile video communication applications for the Windows Mobile platform.Develop GUI and other aspects of the application according to the standards of the platformImplement communication protocols and related technologyProvide aggressive, attainable goals and time framesProvide expertise and recommendations for standards based architectures and supporting services Follow engineering best practices in a team environment to develop highquality products including writing automated unit, component and feature level testingContribute to the overall system architecture and the development of mobile product features Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience BS degree in CS, EE, or equivalent 36+ years of experience developing stateoftheart applications 2+ years of experience with multimedia applicationsSignificant mastery of Windows and Windows Mobile developmentStrong knowledge of C# and C++ Good objectoriented design and analysis skills Experience developing highquality, multithreaded applications Must possess good communication skills and be eager to work in a team environment with other dedicated engineers Preferred Familiarity with mobile systems and cellular networksExperience with text, voice, or video communication applicationsExperience with Mobile platforms such as Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian, Blackberry, WebOS, or other mobile or realtime operating systems
