Complete Description Provide project management for a variety Smart Grid I/Scentric infrastructure projects. Write and gather approvals for all appropriate project documentation Develop detailed project plans (e.g. schedule, resourcing, cost adherence, risk / issue management, communication plan, etc.) Coordinate status reporting of assigned Programs Manage of all Programs financials, from initial estimation thru project closure and final financial reconciliation Identify & manage issues and risks related to these projects, which by their construction nature can be different than typical IT projects PLEASE FOCUS IN YOUR SEARCH Experience and record of success managing IT infrastructure projects from conceptual design through deployment Ability to lead and participate in crossorganizational planning sessions Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and control to a detailed work plan and staffing level plan is required Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with vendor(s), with IT and with the business customers. Experience with all aspects of security, infrastructure, and application systems components. Ability to identify, quantify and manage risks and issues on fastmoving projects; ability to communicate those risks / issues effectively to stakeholders along with potential mitigation plans and drive to conclusion Knowledge and experience with Oracle Primavera P6 Professional Project Management and Portfolio Management tools is highly desired Working experience with MS Office, MS Project 2003 (Office & Project 2017 strongly preferred) Previous experience managing projects in two or more of the following IS knowledgeareas are highly desirable Wireless voice radio technology (metropolitanarea voiceradio) Microwave, SONET and MUX networking (dish / radio technology, standards, technology upgrade considerations) Wintel / Unix/Linux server environments (host turnup, OS upgrades, VMWare) Enterprise storage (Brocade directors, NetApps filers) MediumtoLarge size corporate call centers (Switch, IVR, ACD projects, software updates) Corporate infrastructure security projects (facility intrusion systems, cameras/video feeds) Bachelor degree or equivalent experience, preferably in business or engineering curriculums Prefer 5+ years work experience in PMO environment Behavior Characteristics Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to create and follow procedures, posses the ability to work unsupervised. Must have attention to detail and a cando attitude. Excellent at multitasking and working well under pressure.
