Description
Norfolk Southern located in Atlanta, GA (midtown) is currently looking for a DB2 9.5/9.7 DBA for an initial 6 month assignment with the strong likelihood of extensions. Our client is currently embarking upon a SAP ECC 6.0 implementation and we are looking for talented DB2 DBAs to help with the analysis and design within the blueprint phase. We are seeking an expert in database performance tuning along with a proven success record of database upgrades and bug fixes. This is an enterprise level environment and candidates must have aggressive issue resolution skills as well as creative problem solving skills on highly complex systems. Experience with IBM Systems P hardware is preferred (p520, p550, p570, etc). This is an exciting opportunity for a team player that has excellent communication skills and 4+ years of experience implementing, upgrading, troubleshooting and supporting enterprise level SAP DB2 LUW (Linux, Unix, Windows).
