Informatica Developer

Description

Solid understanding of Informatica PowerCenter 8.x Expert level Informatica development experience; understand reusability, parameterization, workflow design, etc. Review and analyze the ETL requirements Design, develop, implement, and assist in validating ETL processes Create and execute unit test plans based on system and validation requirements. Troubleshoot, optimize, and tune ETL processes. Document all ETL related work per company's methodology Maintain existing code and fix bugs whenever needed Ensure that all timelines of loading/validating data are met Develop mappings / sessions / workflows Experience interpreting and understanding normalized data models Determine the structure of data; experience in data analysis Writing and optimizing SQL code (Teradata and/or Oracle a must); stored procedures a plus Strong scripting skills (shell; perl a plus) Strong conceptual, communications, and technical skills Selfmanage time and task priorities to meet project timelines, and identify potential project risks Handle multiple work related tasks Take ownership and follow through with tasks until completion Work on projects and maintenance tasks Handles general support duties including defect resolution and moderate enhancement work
