Brief Description Of Assignment The candidate shall be strong in the area of SOA technologies and Web Services development; have hands on experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware, SOA Suite, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Business Process Execution Language (BPEL), SOA Adapter technologies, and WebLogic Server. Candidate shall be a good team player, be able to communicate with customers to work on functional and technical requirements. The candidate should have application integration experience in the following areas a) Manufacturing functional domainb) Application integrationc) Performanced) Qualitye) Troubleshootingf) Operational aspects Experience with Architecture Review process, design of large systems, creation of technical requirements documents and major decision documents would be a plus. Establish the role as a key SOA solutions expert. Define the technical reference architecture, ensuring that it meets the business requirements, cost constraints and performance goals of the application. Ensure that the technical architecture is consistent with the clients longterm direction. Involve in the application(s) technical architecture analysis, design, implementation and reviews, and ensure that the product fulfills the requirements. Work with the integration solution architects; deliver high level and detailed architecture design and documentation. Identify the technical environment required to support the application architecture reviews. Define application programming guidelines and standards. Collaborate with other architects to ensure that the products and components work together to meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the requirements. Troubleshoot, debug and solve technology integration and performance problems. Years of Work Experience Experience should include 1. Possess a minimum 10+ years of overall IT experience.2. Have completed 5 or more years working in the areas of systems architecture, component design, implementation, and deployment processes.3. Have sound understanding and experience in SOA Technologies(Oracle SOA Suite, ESB, BPEL, Connector frameworks), Web Services and XML Standards. Experience with OAGIS specification is a plus.4. Have implemented at least one SOA project successfully using the SOA technologies. Personal Skills Required Excellent communication and leadership ability; Ability to teach, mentor and effectively guide team toward a consistent philosophy Ability to chair meetings, negotiate solutions, make decisions effectively Ability to meet targeted deadlines with minimal supervision. Ability to follow and support USS Standards for design, development, implementation and documentation. Ability to independently research and solve complex technical issues. Technical Skills Required 1. Experience in WebLogic application server, experience with WebSphere is a plus.2. Possess the ability to perform analysis and design software systems using industry standard modeling tools.3. Be proficient in the use of software development tools like JDev, RAD and techniques in software projects.4. Present and communicate effectively with clients, with team members and with management.5. Provide effective mentoring to team members and other technical members when required.6. Experienced in SOA Governance processes. Systinet experience would be a plus.7. Knowledge of migration from Oracle 10g to 11g is a plus.8. Experience with MQ Series is must. Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) knowledge would be a plus. Additional Skills/Qualities not required but would be a plus 1. Evidence of prior leadership position in implementation of a corporate level and successful SOA architecture.2. Implementation of automated deployment of an application3. Knowledge of crossplatform design and development experience
