Job Role and Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of the role are to support and maintain the Cisco Voice Network infrastructure. These responsibilities include Create Cisco VoIP system requirements for business needs Design, Implementation and Testing of Cisco VoIP networks Troubleshooting of Cisco VOIP Initiate, Implement and Support Problem/Change Requests Interface with Stakeholders and with escalation teams Manage and Support escalations Providing technical consultancy to business units and other IT teams Providing technical inputs for Service Improvements Prepare Requirement Specs, Design and Test Plan Documents Giving inputs to Managers and Leads for Project Planning and sending status updates to Leads/Managers Mandatory Experience Required Experience of 58 years in Cisco VOIP telephony. A minimum of 3 years in Design or Implementation of Campus VOIPStrong Cisco VOIP networking background. Installation of Cisco VOIP components CUCM 6.1 Cisco Unity Cisco VOIP Phones Skilled in Architecture and administration of complex VoIP systems PBX and PBX to VoIP integration Advanced troubleshooting VOIP Basic troubleshooting LAN, WAN Handling upgrades Configuring Load balancing devices Must know VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, RTP, TFTP and related) Must have a sound understand Carrier environments Working knowledge of access network issues that impact VoIP performance as well as their measurement and analysis.
