Techno/Functional BRF Analyst

Description

SAP Business Rules Framework (BRF). Proactive Troubleshooting. Selfmanaged. Experience with BRF required. Has the ability to debug and fix complex rules written in BRF. Understands requirements for change controls and is able to map them to BRF Events, Actions and Expressions. Has a good understanding of how SAPs Business Rules Framework integrates with SAP Tax and Revenue Management. Has the ability to debug and fix complex tax rules written in ABAP. Has experience with writing complex business rules in SAP BRF i.e. he/she should be able to translate business requirements into technical definitions written in the form of BRF Actions and Expressions.RESPONSIBILITIESSupport day to day Basis support activities including checking the health of the SAP landscape and react to the alerts raised by monitoring components.Help Development team with any special requirement with long running report consuming resources.Help testing team with client creation and sequence of activities to make client ready for new test cycle every week.Monitoring Database performance, storage requirements and backup issues. Monitoring the server and storage schedule outages that can potentially impact SAP Landscape.Dealing with Telecomm and OES (Enterprise security) team on Firewall and other network traffic issues. Dealing with SAP support staff to resolve (both technical/functional) issues through SAP messages, support their requests and implement notes.Help with Change Management and tracking transport movement across the landscape.Help security staff with managing the security roles/profiles. Mentoring client Basis staff. PREFERRED SKILLS Has a good understanding of how SAPs Business Rules Framework integrates with SAP Tax and Revenue Management. Has the ability to debug and fix complex tax rules written in ABAP. Has experience with writing complex business rules in SAP BRF i.e. he/she should be able to translate business requirements into technical definitions written in the form of BRF Actions and Expressions. Is experienced with transport creation in SAP and more specifically understands BRF transports. Can work in a team environment and can support multiple BRF development threads
