Position Description The IT Infrastructure Manager will be accountable for leading a team of engineers and architects responsible for providing bestinclass enterprise infrastructure solutions for a growing global organization. This team plans, designs, and implements infrastructure solutions that are aligned with business needs and sound architectural principles. This team also provides infrastructure support for all global systems, acting as an escalation point to other IT teams.The key responsibilities of this role include project management of infrastructure projects and initiatives, supervisory responsibilities of a small team of established IT professionals, and technical leadership in a wide variety of infrastructure technologies and solutions. Must be able to clearly communicate technical solutions in business terms, with a fundamental understanding of ROI, cost/benefit, risk, and value. This individual will supervise the daytoday activities of this team, reporting status, ensuring deadlines are met or exceeded, and providing performance evaluation and feedback.This individual will work closely with other technical managers and IT leadership to provide appropriate business solutions that are costeffective, strategically aligned, and architecturally sound. Must develop and maintain solid professional relationships with other technical managers as well as key business stakeholders.Ideal candidate will have a successful background in a variety of technical and supervisory roles. The candidate will also have a background with progressive project management responsibilities using industry standard bestpractices for system development in medium/large global organizations. Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment with a focus on speedtovalue and innovation.25% Supervisory Duties Manage daytoday activities of a team of architects and engineers Mentor subordinates, providing regular performance feedback and conducting performance reviews Maintain career development responsibility for all subordinates Maintaining strong communications with and report on status of all initiatives to IT leadership Ensure service levels for incident management and project support are met or exceeded Work with vendors and 3rd parties to supplement resources where needed50% Implement and Manage Projects Involving Innovative Technology Solutions Manage projects of various sizes in order to implement bestinclass enterprise infrastructure solutions. Ensure milestones and deadlines are met or exceeded for many simultaneous initiatives, often with shared resources. Ensure transparency and reporting of project KPI's. Ensure change management procedures are strongly adhered to.25% Technical Leadership Maintain knowledge of current and future infrastructure technologies Provide architectural, planning, and design leadership for all IT projects Ensure sound technology roadmaps and lifecycles for all infrastructure solutions and systems Establish technology standards and policies Provide technical documentation on architecture, standards, configurations, and principles Attend meetings with key business stakeholders as well as IT leadership to represent the infrastructure team.
