Description
Reviewing queries, IQ query plans and then tune stored procedures,canned as well as adhoc queries.Review Index Advisor output and then recommend and set up createIndex statements to match new adhoc and prepared queries and storedprocedures.Document existing IQ environment and recommend changes to be madefor a new IQ Multiplexd environment along with logical and physical designrecommendations for same. Have experience building and supporting a Multiplexed environment.Troubleshooting IQ performance problems on an IBM Pseries/AIX5.3.0/64bit platform and making recommendations for both Unix level tuningchanges as well as IQ changesSetup, install IQ and configure database & O/S for highthroughput. Experience in integrating with Business Objects a plus.IQ loader performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.Extensive experience in IQ 12.7 running on AIX. Also, haveexperience with Sybase IQ 15.
