BI Information Architect

Description

Required Skill sets Strong knowledge of database and datawarehousing concepts (preferably in Oracle) Experience in dimensional modeling and relational database design Experience in developing and maintaining large and complex datawarehouses Strong knowledge of ETL tools (Datastage preferred) BO Universe development experience (3+ years) Webi report development experience (3+ years); and ability to work effectively with BO XI server Extensive experience in implementing reports and dashboards, integration with SAP BW InfoProviders and Enterprise Portals Experience in writing technical specifications, test plans and validation checklists Strong understanding of infrastructure requirements Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL and DML tools Experience in the following area OLAP business feasibility analysis Multidimensional design reviews Business Intelligence tool selection Business model prototyping Database tuning and optimization Platform migration Experience in production support environment Cognos Powerplay experience desirable Proven implementation and problemsolving experience including troubleshooting, performance tuning and resolving connectivity issueOther Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with offsite and offshore teams Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple IT and user groups Problemsolving skills ability to navigate technology and organizational issues to complete project tasks
