Skills .Net skills and Web Development Experience SUMMARY This individual works independently and with other members of the Online Software Development team, with primary responsibility to design, develop and enhance components of the Wheels.com Internet and Extranet sites, extensively focused on delivering customerfacing capabilities.Candidates must have indepth knowledge of software development life cycle and experience in agile development methodology.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis role is a demanding, highly dynamic and technically challenging position. A candidate must be experienced in all stages of the software development life cycle Requirements gathering, Design, Development, Construction and Implementation. Candidate must be skilled in ntier web application development. The candidate must also have excellent people skills and be resourceful in order to manage the software developmentprocess. Responsibilities include but are not limited to Enhancement and maintenance of existing and new web applications Technical Design, Coding, and Unit Test of web applications in accordance with business requirements and technical standards Design and Development of reusable components for web application Participation in functional specifications, prototyping, and estimation for web development projects Participate in the development of detailed design specifications for use by the technical team Participation in evaluation and prototype of new technologies, coding practices or thirdparty technology for use in web application Work with business teams to clarify requirements and business needs
