Job Description He/she shall work with the IT Communications Manager on a number of voice initiatives including system upgrades and replacements, Call centre initiatives, optimization and process improvements. Tier 1 and Tier 2 Telephony support including on call rotation 24x7.Required Skills At least 5 years experience in voice communications with Avaya products including but not limited to the following ACM; Vectors and VDN routing; Call flows and Coverage Paths; Hunt groups. Must have prior demonstrable expertise in a large Avaya Call Centre (ACM) environment. Good knowledge of IP telephony, unified messaging and modular messaging. Familiarity with Genesys CTI and IVR environment. Good proficiency in common MS Office applications packages, e.g. MS Excel, MS Project and Access.Desirable (as many) Familiarity with the range of carrier services and voice systems in North America and competent in the following ATT RouteIT /Business Direct. Sprint CSM toll free routing. Verizon, ATT, Quest services.Soft skills Good communication skills in English (both verbal and written)Possess good interpersonal skills; should be a team player. Good analytical skillsEducation Undergraduate or graduate degree in Telecommunications, MIS/IT, EE /Comp Sc /Engg, from a recognized University / Inst.
