The Information Technology Group (ITG) is responsible for Managing Macquarie's technology infrastructure Supporting, maintaining and enhancing existing business systems Delivering and deploying new systems, technologies and services The Group provides each major business in Macquarie with a dedicated team that works closely with that business to understand its particular technology needs. Following the acquisition of Delaware Investments by Macquarie Funds Management Group, Integration Testers are needed to work with application and business teams to define Test Requirements, Test Data and Test Plans. In addition, will need to manage Testers who will work with the application and business teams to document, execute and track test scripts for multiple phases of testing, including unit, functional, component and UAT testing. Key Responsibilities Follow enterprisewide testing processes to ensure software quality standards are met. Support software testing effort to ensure that software applications align with governing documentation. Ability to prioritize testing needs for projects. Ensure that use cases, test cases, test scripts are developed for each area of responsibility. Create reusable test scripts and test data across projects to realize synergies. Ensure that entry and exit criteria are determined and met for all testing phases. Responsible for defect reporting to management.Qualifications Bachelors degree in a scientific discipline. Minimum of 3 5 years testing experience. Ability to read and comprehend business requirements and high level design document Experience using NDM to send/receive files Experience testing the processing of large batch files Ability to write simple SQL for the purpose of validating test cases Ability to write clear, and concise test cases/scripts Ability to diagnose, report and track defects and diagnose root cause Experience with test defect tracking tools, VISIO and testing methodologies Welldeveloped and effective communication skills, both written and verbal (such as clear expression of thoughts, solid technical writing) Demonstrated ability to quickly understand new concepts and complex procedures and to logically analyze those procedures to identify potential problem areas. Ability to develop and run automated and manual test scripts, prepare defect tracking reports. Integration experience is a major plus.
