REQUIRED SKILLS 5 + years Java & J2EE Development experience Deep knowledge of User Interfaces built using PowerBuilder and automated code conversion to Java Strong experience in MVC web framework with JSP, Struts, HTML, CSS, DHTML, XML, XSLT and basic UI Technologies 3+ years experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and crossbrowser compatibility. Experience with AJAX, XPATH, XSLT, Java Beans Experience with Tomcat & Websphere Strong understanding of SDLC processes and Methodologies Strong analytical, problem solving, technical troubleshooting, and production diagnostic skills Fast learner. Ability to quickly learn the existing application and framework with minimal help Excellent communications skills, both oral and written Ability to work in a fastpaced, higheffort, dynamic work environment Strong coders, not managers are needed for this position PREFERRED SKILLS Experience with converting PowerBuilder code to Java Experience with BEA Tuxedo and Jolt Experience with WebSphere/WebLogic applications interacting with Tuxedo Working knowledge of Unix Ability to write complex Ant scripts Knowledge of Java security and JAAS
