Key Responsibilities Lead the PMO function for multiple Financial Accounting implementation Programs for Credit Suisse's PC (Product Control) IT organizationCollect, analyze, audit, and summarize Program and Project status reports for multiple Programs, ensuring they are highquality and executive readyCreate, document, and execute best practice processes and procedures in alignment with the firms SDLC and Quality Management methodologies ensuring compliance by Project Managerso Create a repeatable model for managing projects to provide consistency across projects and facilitate project success and timely completiono Develop and implement education on the standard processes for Project Managers and Business AnalystsPrepare senior management presentationsLead meetings with project managers and key players to understand project status, accomplishments, issues, risks; Publish results and track followupsMonitor issues, risks, dependencies, assumptions, actions auditing key tracking logs. Work with Project Managers to ensure information is accurate, complete, and consistentMaintain a Project Management documentation library including a checklist of deliverables by application development phase with associated templates, best practice examples, and SME contactsRespond to ad hoc reporting requests and produce needed deliverables including systems impacted information, resource/budget/forecast information, governance, and accomplishments / release contents / benefitsEngage with various IT groups, other PMOs, and the business to accomplish objectivesRecommend and implement continuous improvement initiativesExperience and Skills Required/Desired A candidate for this position must have a proven history of solid PMO experience in a similar role. The individual must be able to work in an environment with strict and aggressive deadlines.The ideal PMO candidate will be PMP certified with over 10 years of Program Management and Project Management experience. Must come from a role where they were responsible for PMO governance and project / program management best practices.Candidates must have the following skills Power User of MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio)Type A personality; Confident; Persuasive; ProactiveAble to execute in a partnering, yet firm way; AdaptiveAble to learn and understand the project contentAble to multitask in a fast paced, dynamic environment and manage changing prioritiesAble to lead meetings (organize, facilitate, document, follow up)Able to be detailed focused and also to summarize status / issues / recommendations producing quality deliverablesStrong interpersonal skills; Able to work with and lead people with different personalities, demonstrating conflict management and negotiation skillsStrong team player; Able to interact with stakeholders at all levels, manage expectations, and lead global teams via a dotted line (matrix) modelOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsStrong time management and organizational skillsAble to work flexible hours to accommodate meetings with other geographies and to support ongoing operational reporting schedulesFinancial Services experience preferred
