In this role as a Quality Assurance Engineer you will ensure a high standard of quality in the software products that Firethorn delivers to its customers. Manage Firethorn's quality assurance and product testing activities. Perform quality assurance duties throughout the project life cycle. Ensure that the company's testing methods and tools meet industry standards. Research and implement new and improved testing methods, processes, tools, and test systems. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Review usecases and other requirements documents for testabilityDevelop test plans based on requirementsPerform Functional and Regression testing on both mobile client and web based applicationsLeverage automated testing tools where appropriateClearly document all issues in defect tracking systemReport and run metrics on defect data Minimum of five years experience in the following areas Experience writing and executing test casesExperience using automated testing toolsExperience using HPMercury Quality Center testing suiteExperience within an Agile/SCRUM software development methodologyExperience testing applications on a mobile deviceExperience with Financial industryExposure to gift card processing, POS systems, CRM systemsHigh security environmentsExcellent communication skills
