Description
This request is for a position in which the candidate will be providing expert technical guidance and support for an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) that is to be used by various components across a very large organization. Support Activities may include but are not limited to the following Installation and customization of the Progress Softwares FUSE ESB. Work with the Technical Architect for performing upgrades and enhancements. Work with Enterprise and Project Architects and Application development teams to design and develop project solutions. Daytoday operations support activities to insure continuous and stable performance of the ESB and the tasks executed within the ESB environment. Technical Liaison as Subject Matter Expert on ESB/SOA Technology in Systems Integration. Set up necessary monitors; apply patches, schedule tasks, triggers, gateways, message queues and JVMs in coordination with Operations and ESB management. Perform risk mitigation, analysis, and planning related to upgrades, performance improvements, and conversions. Diagnose and remediate ESB System Performance Issues. Perform restarts and recovery related to planned and unplanned outages.
