Description

Responsibilities Enterprise web application planning, design and implementation Develop software using Java, JSP, Struts, and JSF Adhere to coding and development process and standards documentation, testing, coding practices Develop and enhance using MVC structure including presentation layer, persistence layer, and control Maintain code in source control with Perforce Work with the ePocrates database team to design and develop the database component (schema changes, stored procedures) of web technologies Design code to accommodate complex business rulesSkill Requirements Minimum 5 years software engineering experience At least one project using JSF Java, J2EE, JSP, Struts, JSF, MVC Working knowledge of relational database concepts is required Experience with objectrelational mapping is preferred Proficiency with source control is required A working knowledge of network architecture and data communications is a plus Some experience localizing applications for international customers is desirable Must communicate effectively with management and peers Must be selfmotivated, have a strong team orientation, learn quickly and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
